True blood anyone?

Anyone else watch true blood on hbo and want to discuss?

I just discovered True Blood and love it...I bought the first and second season on Blu-ray and just starting the second season so I'm not yet ready to take part in discussions of whats going on right now, but wow...what a great show!

It's a lot of fun, and their accent makes it really work well. Love it.

Godric was a hottie, for sure, in the books though he was completely different.

Ooom, that can happen alot more, not sure how much they will do with it though. The maryann thing was completely different in the books.

Once we get to Mississippi on the show, it should be totally awesome for those of us looking for boy toys on tv. The king there has a harem or at least he did in the books.

No, he had some of bill's blood after he was almost sacrifed for Maryann. After that happens, you have Urges. They can translate into dreams of an erotic nature.

I would like some erotic dreams of Sam, Bill, and Jason.

Sam and Jason. I just hope they bring in Claud in a later season.

I never realized that the actor that does jason is british, never had a clue.

After reading all these posts I may have to get HBO now just to see this show! That or buy the DVDs B)

I have tried not to be sucked in (yeah I know, bad pun) but vampires and werewolves...zomg how can a SFF geek resist?

The gay dream was symbolic of the attachment and uncontrollable draw the vampire blood has, not true sexual desire. I don't think they will take it anywhere as a storyline. Still pretty hot for an almost kiss though.

I think they're trying to express the blood bond between drinker and drinkee transcends sexual orientation.

Anyone as excited over the possible gaymance for Lafayette? I hope it works out. Dave (my lp) is worried it may be part of some plot, but other than his blood dealing i cant think of anyone that should need to set him up.

P.S. and to American Wolf, the books are good as well, several gay characters.

BTW, Jason's Australian in real life (I believe he was in Home & Away for those that remember). Bill is English...

My fave character hands down has got to be Pam! Her one-liners are amazing! Lafayette is a close second...

In the books Kenya and Kevin are an almost item.

Yea too bad Godric is dead, that was a bummer, especially since the one on the show was much cooler than the version in the book.

Pam is even better in the books, she is one of Sookie's true friends, her one liners are even better.

I just heard a lil of Jason's accent, did not catch the aussie, my bad. Bill is noticably British.
