Well, DS9 has its tradition of hat-tips to the series "Cheers". The character Morn was developed with the idea of Norm Peterson in mind. DS9 in-game has a bartender named "Woaddie Bhoidh", if I remember right. We could pick a show, or heck, that one, to hat-tip. Maybe a Bolian bartender named Samma Lohn?

lol @ the "other" :P Angel... yep, that hand-gun would be most useful!

I'm pretty sure he's not robo-Rory, since the Doctor ended up crashing Amy & Rory's wedding day (the whole "something old, new, borrowed and blue" silliness)... even though the Doc was dead... or didn't exist... or some such... ok, best not to think about Dr Who too much - just try to enjoy it!!

But the robot Rory timeline was reset I thought and the Doctor popped back to Amy and real Rory getting married. If he's still robot Rory, why can't he pop out the plastic man hand gun thing he had before when it would be helpful? >.>

Someone mentioned having NPCs available on the station for contact points for Foundry missions. I've also heard folks talk about building the station and/or creating a station mission where new fleet members can "meet" the various bigwigs in Stonewall Fleet. Personally, I think it would also be cool to include additional NPCs around the station for the sake of local colour. You know, the characters who have speech balloons pop up when you pass by, but that you can't interact with. These NPCs could either be some of us "lesser" fleet toons, or entirely new characters. New characters could include things like a transporter operator,a bartender, and random folks standing around talking with each other. I would love to help create some characters like that, personally.

also if you see it was 100 years later but the fbi agent isnt even in his 80's yet he was in his 30's (love the point of him being gay and with a black man) which was unheard of in those days.

Also rory was the robot and the memories are with him as he came back in time after the whole event but was stuck with the cube all that time as a roman soldier.

I think river only realised that this was the last time she would remember the doc as it was the first kiss for him but the last kiss for her as both are coming from diffrent time ends. its the begining and the end.

More importantly who is the little girl and what happend to the doctors clone daughter from many moons ago from the planet??????

Re: Doctor Who?...

Totally agree.

Not that I like fixing other people's plot holes... but here goes! :cheer: :

- River knew that was the last time she'd see the Doctor before she died, but it didn't necessarily mean she was going to die that day (though we all know today is a good day to die).

- Doc spent 100 years in that body then was shot by a spaceman.... I don't like this either but presumably that was one possible future and, paradoxes aside, they can now change the course of future history to stop it happening. (They've done far worse on the show before!)

But yeah, lots of annoyances... the whole Rory-remembering-2000-years-living-as-Android-Rory-even-though-he-never-met-him thing is pretty damn annoying too, unless I'm missing something?!

I am still there but due to having too much work havent played in a while. I play there as LilFleur on snowbourne and have to admit I havent even got to Moria yet.

On another note for those that aren't upto date with happenings there, if you have an account which you would like to keep going at some point you will need to transfer it after June 1st as Turbine is taking it back from Codemasters. No details have been released yet on how this will be done.

I agree I prefer sublety. I feel I should be sitting with a pen and paper making copious notes each Saturday evening for fear I miss something that will come back to bite me in the arse later on. I enjoy good old fashioned story telling.

I wonder how many exteriors we will be able to choose from. If its gonna be just the ESD and DS9 or if we can get a few more variety's like Regula One, K7, Drozana, ect..

I'd like to see the Starbases from TNG and DS9 which was a mash up of the Regula 1 Model. Would seem a bit unrealistic to have a load of Cardassian stations on the Fed side.

LOTRo was my first MMO and I played on Snowbourn. I left it after Moria coz I got sick of the constant runs for Radience gear, though I hear its not as bad now.

Re: Star Trek: A Final Unity

May 13 2011
I recently sold my old Star Trek Games on ebay, Final Unity was at the time pretty cutting edge for me since I had only recently upgraded from a C64 and Mega Drive. The graphics I thought were amazing and the voice overs where fantastic.

The missions I remember having trouble with as a kid (i was 11 in 1995) was when ya had to fly 20 light years from the planet so you could view the planet 20 years ago. Think it was near the end of the game.

I really liked Botf and was very disappointed when a few years ago Bethesda released Star Trek Conquest and it was pitiful in comparison.

Having said that I enjoyed most of the old Star Trek Games from the 25th Anniversary, TNG Final Unity and VOY Elite Force

not gonna brag, but I am gonna lol. since I get all the Massively tip emails, stupid closed beta testers always send in stuff "anonymously" so I get to see and hear about some cool stuff. You guys are going to be amazed. I am definitely now gonna check out the game

Amazed, perhaps but not surprised unless it sucks.B)

I'll be amazed if they scrap the starfox style space shootemup whose honour they fought so rabidly against the fans to protect.
