New update!

Looks like they plan on having the game round for a while! What do we all think of this? Is it possible?

I was just checking out the KoS guild roster. Having 60 folks signed up is very cool, but I'm wondering why only one is interested in being a Trooper. What's not to love about heavy armor and a huge gun?

I'm as yet undecided, but just a guess: you can play heavy armor and a huge gun in just about every game out there. Maybe people want to try out what makes this game different from what they've played a hundred times before.

I will probably go for something with a lightsaber first. I have noticed a marked deficiency of lightsabers in STO....

There are a small number of body types. For men, I think of them as Twink, Otter, Muscle, and Bear. :)

Also known as swimmer's build, swimmer's build, swimmer's build, and swimmer's build.

(Yeah, I stole that joke from the play/movie "Jeffery.")

Amazing Eurrsk! I mean, just wow! How did you make the videos? Did you use the foundry? They were so incredibly detailed!! I demand a dev post to share your secrets!

lol There's no secret. To answer all your questions though, here's just a list of the tools and software I used. ^_^

- Wax 2.0
- Cyberlink DVD Suite Deluxe (Used to add in the News ticker)
- Windows Movie Maker (Used to compile the movie and add sounds)
- Foundry (I used this to make the Eiffel tower background)
- FRAPS (Records the videogame screens)
- Surprisingly I did not use demo record for this particular video.

Also, is that voice a computer voice? I actually can't tell! There are some parts where it sounds like a computer, but it's nailing a lot of the tricky pronunciations.

Thanks for that. I wasn't looking for massive detail, but an idea is always nice.

So I'll assume that it's not as detailed as STO.

Facial features sound similar to the options available in WoW, and you get a selection of body types. That's a good level of customisation. I assume that hair colour etc will also be customisable.

Many thanks :)
