I will eventually play a consular to see their story and game play.

Still tossing around smuggler and a trooper. I just don't want folks to auto think I'm a tank if I play a trooper. I really really suck at tanking.

It sounds interesting, will reserve judgement until it becomes clearer.

I always wanted them to continue in the post DS9/VOY universe but I can understand that for casual fans, the heavy history would be a major turnoff, so the next best thing for me would be further in the future - perhaps deep in the 25th Century or a bit later, with transwarp to all quadrants of the galaxy, perhaps some contact with extra-galactic species, back to pushing back the frontiers of exploration.

I would normally say any Trek on TV is better than none but that was before Enterprise so I won't say that - I do think anything in the prequel area would be a bad idea though. It's been done, it didn't quite work, let's go forward again.

Agreed... I'm playing for the continuation of the KOTOR universe and to be a minigun-toting Medic. Seems a little odd to me to have character romance arcs in an MMO where encouraging community interaction is kind of the point.

But to each their own I guess.

I'm just picturing a bunch of same-class characters chatting about their love interest around a campfire, each one of them names the same Companion... that slut! ;-)

Just saw last week's episode and I was all "YES! BOUT DAMN TIME" when Jack started talking to Angelo about his friend The Doctor and his companions.

Still wish it was more like Dr. Martha Jones showing up (I mean really, she's an honest to goodness doctor and this is right up her alley), but at this point I'm ready to take any acknowledgement.

I agree with the slow pacing of the story arc, but I think the last few episodes have been getting increasingly better and better. It was amusing when Mike C. (MikeyNY) started asking me how Jack knew about the future (he didn't really know Jack's origin as far as we've seen in the Dr. Who series).
