so it will be like a sister guild but the main one will be the republic side and if so im currently in a sith guild with a few of my friends from work but if its ok i would like to apply to preferably the republic side at a later date.

I had a dream about the new series last night. And, of course, since it was a dream about a TV show, it meant that in the dream, I kept going back and forth between watching the show and being in the show. In my dream, the series premiere began with a chronology of Earth history from the early 21st-century--when the United States launched a nuclear-powered weather-control satellite which malfunctioned during its launch from Antarctica, which was misread by other nations as a nuclear attack and thus started World War III--to the times of Voyager. Subsequent episodes involved different characters from all five live series travelling back in time to different periods of Earth history. Nog travelled to 16th-century Spain--as was indicated in a photograph--but a malfunction in the technology made him a baby, and a tribe of Native Americans living in Spain had to raise him. The last bit I remember was about being on Voyager with the crews from two different realities interacting with each other, one crew trying to take over the other.

I hope the actual series is absolutely nothing like my dream. :)

All the funky buttons for the thumb seem to be right in the way when you use your left hand. My bf has one similar to the pictured one in the first post and he's programmed the buttons for various things.

Yuck. I'm right handed, but because of a recent... incident with my back, I use my mouse lefty up at work, so I can understand your concern.

Anyway. I preordered the digital deluxe version from Origin. I thought about waiting until later to see if any other preorder sources popped up with special preorder bonuses, but I figured I may as well get it while I've got the capital for the full digital dl. (I decided against the CE because I didn't want to pay something like $80 for a statue >.> ) One of my colleagues got the CE so I'll bug him about what's in the special store and maybe be jealous about it later.

I want to join the long list of people thanking you for your efforts and contributions in the STO universe. STO is currently lacking in some of the out-of-game bells and whistles that the WoW community can take advantage of and your blog and these articles are a great contribution to the knowledge base that everyone will benefit from.
