I have a GTX570 (and an i7 processor) and don't have any problems with STO or SWTOR (both running on max settings). If you've got the dosh and want to wait a bit, the GTX6xx series will be coming out soon, I hear.

Sith ships have the most annoying and frustrating interior layouts. The Agent's ship has a fantastic layout and is as gorgeous as it looks in the concept art. The Trooper's ship has a very sensible and pleasing layout, as does the BH ship. The Jedi ship is also sensibly laid out, but I hate it; and I haven't unlocked the ship on my Smuggler.

I haven't found us, yet, so I started rolling with a group called "Synergy".

I've had to check them a few times for comments,

"What's wrong with being a gaymer/tv/ts?"

But I attribute that more to them having absolutely no standards when recruiting. They seem to be more concerned with getting numbers and recruiting everyone within earshot (in general) who can hear them.

For most intents and purposes, they're a nice lot, and I stay around for the company and so I can keep them honest. :p

Imagine living in a household where one (MikeyNY) has an account but not the other (me). How's that for dangling a raw bone in front of a pack of rabid dogs? Totally sucks I can't play with him to experience some of the group content.

Ah well.

When considering any GPU, keep in mind that some games, like STO have a UI that is run solely through your CPU and is Single-threaded. That means that you can have a great quad-core CPU but, since the STO UI is single-threaded, it can't use more than one of the processing cores. This is why you can have the best Video card and a great overall CPU but still get less than thirty FPS in a game.

To test that out in STO, go somewhere, like, ESD.
Type /fpshisto 1 and /fpsgraph 1
Then open your inventory.
Watch your FPS drop...
Now Hide your UI entirely and see the FPS spike up.

One other thought, playing on the original form of the jedi code (below), "Diversity, yet unity"

One of the key portions of the Code was a five-line mantra. Several versions of the mantra exist, though the original version was:
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.

I like the "Balance in Diversity", "Strength in Diversity" etc. suggestion

As another thought, going on the Jedi code,

maybe something like

or

or
There is no hatred, there is tolerance.
or
something that makes sense lol.
