Re: Uninstall the Game-Testing Client email msg

How long have you been in Beta, is your beta client old or the new one released for the Thanksgiving weekend test

I thought we were ok if we downloaded the other week and just wondered if you got the email because you have the older client

Been waiting for this game for must be 5 years, ever since Bioware announced they were working on a secret mmo project (worst secret ever :))
Can't believe it's finally here

GAME the main UK games store took a week to mail out pre order codes so I doubt I will be given access on the 15th but will be in ASAP to meet you all. I work in retail so this isn't the best time of year for me, spare time wise but hopefully I can get some quality time in

Recently even replayed KOTOR 1 and 2 to get into the spirit, after all these years both those games are still amazing.

Main will be a Miraluka Jedi Sage named Mynara

Uninstall the Game-Testing Client email msg

I just received this email from Bioware. So it looks like we need to wait for the email with the new download. I think I read that it would come out around the 10th.

ya I saw that myself. I didn't really see the point behind this system in the first place as it's unlikely that every guild will get placed were they want to go. If nothing else, we can just delete the guild and create it on the correct server if we get screwed.

Yes, we sure can.

And please, if we do get screwed, don't blame us. :P
We've done our best to follow all of the rules and steps necessary to be put on the same server.

Lets hope for the best but plan for the worst. I'm sure Bioware will do the best they can but if it doesn't work out lets just roll with it and keep the lines of communication open so we can get on the correct server.

I'm just dang excited the game is coming out in 10 days! Woot!!!

I'm with you, it feels like a heck of a long time. I only heard about the game back in July but was hooked from the first trailer I watched on the official forums.

I have to work the morning of the 15th, but I will log on at midnight to snagg a few names and then be back in the afternoon.(that is if I'm lucky enough to get in on the 15th for early access, it could be friday or saturday)

My X got me into MMO's in 2003 with DAoC. I've been playing solo since 2005, I'm really looking forward to the game and getting a chance to know you all.

I have 10 days to figure out what I'm going to be playing. ugh! I know it will be republic side to start with but I'm an altaholic so I'll have one of each class eventually.

I know I can't get off on the 15th, if I even can play that day or not, but I will be online ASAP to play my Jedi Sentinal. I played it in beta and fell in love, much more so than with my Smuggler. I can't wait to play. Anyone that is up for forming a casual group for night and weekend play let me know. My Jedi's name will be Xavian. My fiance will also be on as soon as he can, name TBD. I look forward to playing with the entire guild.

and That is what will have been wrong, every time a game company charts all of the path, the path goes in a bad direction for most of everybody. Basically it usually works to make everyone equally miserable. ;)

Not sure which side i'll be playing on though, since i dont know if the BF will be able to get off that day or not. If not i'll be playing my Jedi Knight Vanyel, otherwise i'll be on my Imperial Agent Ayden playing with his BH. Either way, i hope to see you guys in game! Hopefully we'll get the server selection email this week like they said.

There's nothing better than to be able to share a game like this with someone you are close to. It's hard for me to imagine what it was like to actually solo in MMOs. My husband and I have been playing duos practically since the day we started dating.

I am looking forward to release, but have to admit that my eagerness what tempered by beta. Before you experience the actual product it's so easy to get caught up in the hype, buzz, and excitement about the stuff they talk about, and only after you get hands on, get to see the not-so-shiny bits (and I'm not talking the expected issues that come with beta like lag or bugs).

At any rate, starting next week, things are going to be pretty busy around here as folks get into Early Access the remainder hope in after the official launch.

I dont know about you guys but i feel like ive been waiting for this game for half my life (or at least since NGE). It seems like this last month as been twice as long, but we're in the home stretch finally! I dont know how many of you pre-ordered, but i expect to be in game, bright eyes and bushy tailed (that's kind of a silly saying isnt it?) first thing next Thursday morning.

The only unfortunate thing is that it's very clear from the beginning that it's two guys. When the "invisible" guy gives the guy his phone number at the beginning, you can very clearly see his name is "Paul"--written upside-down, but definitely there.

Isn't it infact the invisible guy's book to begin with? The other guy (Paul) writes his name and phone number to give to invisible guy, not the other way around?

It took maybe a week or so to get really used to it, but now i dont think i could go back to clicking.

I hold you personally responsible for spending $70 to replace my $90 (albeit 5 year old) Logitech G9x with the original Naga. :) I had a few set-up/startup issues, but it might have had something to do with the fact that there were 2 mouses plugged in at the same time.

SW:TOR will be the first game that I will be using to put it through it's paces, so I'm hoping learning a new character from scratch with the mouse will make it completely natural.

I'm not a huge fan of where the "Forward/Back" buttons are, I actually put one of the nubs on the Back button because I found myself having a harder time hitting that one than the 12-button grid.

I figure with it being Christmas, I've got about a month and a half to test it before I need to commit to keeping or returning it.
