PRE-LOAD THE GAME NOW

Early Game Access* will begin on December 13th at 7:00AM EST, 2011 and ends on December 19th, 2011 at 10:01PM EST. During this time, we will be emailing invitations to join Early Game Access based on the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code. Pre-load the game client now, so you're ready to play when your Early Game Access invitation arrives. Note that download time can vary and may take awhile.



This was not telling people when they will start, it is just stating that it does begin on the 13th.

You will have the option of completing these steps during the Early Game Access period so that you are ready to play upon the Game’s official launch.

Well, that's certainly a bummer :(
The only copies of the game I have access to are hard copies since I'm not in the US, Canada or EU... Guess I'll have to wait till I get my copy mailed to me after the official launch too... Sigh

Did anyone else get early access on December 13th? I keep reading that people are starting on the 15th.

Ati cards or at least my Ati card did have an issue with displaying shadows. It left them flickering in the beta so I had to turn them off or at medium. at medium though shadows became almost non existant. I'm using two 5770's btw. but dual graphics aren't supported at the moment.

The only game I seriously considered getting a "Collectors" or "Ultimate" edition of was the Ultimate Bundle for Assassin's Creed: Revelations from Gamestop. It included a DaVinci flying machine (I think it was like a 24" wingspan) that would have been a nice eclectic addition to our decor. GS borked the order at release so I cancelled it and just went with my original instinct of just getting the standard edition like I do with everything else.

I spend enough on our gaming addiction, I can't justify dropping an additional $50-$100 on a game.

The only CE i have gotten in a long time is the Halo 3 one that came with a spartan hemlet, and i only got that cause they had a few on clearance at my local gamestop. before that it was tabula rasa, and we all know how well that one turned out. i just through out the box a few months ago. Kept the goodies though.

No way to copy it off of your old computer via a temporary network (assuming you had the latest build)? Just grab the installer (so it's in your Uninstall list), and once you get to the Launcher, close it, then copy all of the files over. This is how we handle things in our house: get it downloaded to one, then copy it over to the other.

Thats what i did cause i uninstalled as soon as i got that stupid email from bioware. Luckily my bf still had his installed, so i just ran the installer and copied his directory to mine. worked like a charm.

Maybe I'm reading too much into the email (a habit I tend to get into as my job revolves around email), but from the sound of it, we won't have much warning before our access is granted:

At least I'm reading "During this time" as meaning the invites will start, and continue, after Early Access has started.

I'm playing this kind of game with the dang Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the U.S. At least with SW:TOR we have a date from the horse's mouth.

Aw yeah! Earlier date, less than a week, crazy! It's going to be very very difficult to not call in sick whenever I get in.

Employers everywhere will wonder why people have suddenly gone rabid for email.

Just checked my launcher and it looks like I'm all patched up and ready to go. Still check it on a daily basis, you know -- can't be too careful!

Still no word on what day of Early Access I qualify for though. Keeping my fingers crossed!
