In short, it took all the best elements of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and multiplied them by absurdity.

To give you a vague idea, "Strap it on" is the tagline, and my sweet husband has taken to running around beating rival gang members with a weapon called the Penetrator. Given the nature of these forums, I'll leave it to you to look it up for yourself.

The game's opening sequence is that you are robbing a bank DRESSED as one of your gang's most famous members, with an actor in tow. As you might expect it becomes a cluster... um... frak, and the next thing you know, you're hanging off of a massive vault that has been hauled out of the bank by a crane helicopter, firing an automatic rifle one-handed, to take down enemy helicopters as you make your getaway.

There's one chase sequence in the game where you are riding a rickshaw pulled by a gimp (yes, THAT kind of gimp). Amusingly, even the rickshaws explode when they take enough damage.

"Activities" include everything from base jumping, car surfing, stunt flying, car jumping and streaking to destroying rival gang operations and participating in a crazy Japanese-inspired "reality show" called Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax.

The fact that you can play 4-player coop throughout the entire game is a huge bonus. It' s all about mindless, absurd, fun. "Realism" be damned.

Most of the names I use aren't very common so I'm not terribly worried. I wouldn't mind if someone could try and snag Mouse for me. I use Mouse a lot for rogue-ish type characters, but have never been able to snag it for an MMO. Indeed, during beta I never found a server that it hadn't been taken already.

I'm pretty sure I'll start on the 13th, but I work nights so I'm going to try and be up at 5am but I doubt I will be, haha.

I know this is three weeks old, but I got Saints Row for my birthday and I am LOVING it. It's hilariously random and really fun. It's keeping me entertained until the 13th.

I'm using 8.0 which I believe is the latest?

It's true that they've been more supportive in the last few years, especially Hillary. But, they've never been against us. Even when Bill was governor of Arkansas, it never seemed like they were "against" the GLBT community.

Yes, I know he signed DOMA. But there were a lot of factors in that as well.

I do have to admit to some disappointment over Hillary's reaction to Bill's cheating. I had a comfy chair and popcorn all ready to go for what I figured would be the show of the century. Bill on the white house lawn begging Hillary to "please forgive him". And Hillary tossing Bill's stuff out on the lawn while yelling at Bill about his idiocy of cheating with the one girl in DC that didn't know how to get a stain out of a dress.

In case anyone doesnt know, that wasnt the first time he was caught, he was known for having a roaming eye.

God, I always wanted them to release JUST the design creator so I could use it for inspiration once I got a new sewing machine.

I was looking through my photobucket albums and came across a screenshot i took of a hoodie i made in APB before it closed down and reopened again. took forever to get the lightsabers right using only the shapes i had available.
Not to mention making the aurebesh shape by shape.

I am in Arizona I work mainly second shift, till about 8pm which normally gets me home by 9pm. I normally wont be in bed till about 2am, so that gives my plenty of night time play...

My days off can vary but I am always off Sunday, and currently Monday and Thursday. (12 hour shifts)

I would not consider myself a power leveler but I do enjoy playing with my guild mates, so I am always willing to group up.

I plan on having a character in each guild:
Shayachern - Sith Inquisitor
Shaych - Jedi Consular

Also, from what I've read so far, speeder training (mount) costs 40k, the speeder itself, 8k, add the cost of skill training and gearing up...it just makes more sense to take slicing to lvl 50, to bring in the credits. After 50, reskill and powerlvl your chosen crafting very quickly.

Anyways thats what I plan to do, the crafting mat swap thing sounds awesome and could work with with my plans too. :)

Now I'm doing a 180 from my pro-Slicing theory. Everyone will be doing it and there will be alot of demand for limited nodes. The mob based gathering skills, like Bioanalysis & Scavenging won't have this limitation. Perhaps the masses will be all doing slicing and providing them with mats & crafted goods is the way to greater profits.

The other skills all have their pro's and cons. Biochem and cybertech are great coz they can make consumables. Cybertech even has a speeder recipe. So perhaps it might work out better to go that route and sell alot on the GTN. I'm undecided and my head hurts thinking about it.

I'm in a similar timezone to Ryyven, maybe we'd get a group going :) I'm thinking I'd be more republic side, pve focused. I like to complete the all quests too.

But I tend to be an obsessive powerleveling demon, so I dont think I'll be same level for long. After finishing the first chapter, I think my alt addiction will slow me down though.

What class do you intend to roll? For my first/main I'm thinking gunslinger
