Anyone else worried that theres so little traffic on here 2 days from headstart? I mean, before the STO headstart we had a ton of people on here and in the IRC chatroom and vent. Now, theres hardly every more than 8-10 people logged in. We had over 100 members who signed up on the tor site right? where is everyone?

The launch of TOR is very different from the launch of STO. First of all, when Stonewall Fleet started we were a very small tight knit group who was use to using the IRC channel as our only means of communication. Now, we're much larger we have vent and in-game chat to do a lot of that stuff. The forums have been much more active as late though.

As far as the high visitor count, I asked Doogiegood a couple weeks ago to say something to Nick and see, on the backside of the site what all the visitor blips are. If I was forced to speculate, I would bet that the vast majority are search engine bots. The Stonewall forums have all the keywords needed to show up on a Star Wars Knights of the old Republic search. And that topic is a hot search item right now.

The guest count on Online Users module is a bit crap. That number is pulled from a file that stored in a directory that shared across all the sites on our server. It's not a very good indicator. The best indicator is our analytics data that I post every month. According to it, yesterday, we had a 200% increase in site traffic over a month ago.

Both StonewallFleet.com and KnightsofStonewall.com are showing increased traffic probably due to the launch of Season 5 for Star Trek Online and the pending release for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Working and cleaning before Christmas, I have family over for Christmas dinner this weekend (brother: You are going to give up six hours of early access to feed us all?). I've also hit Skyrim and AC:R/SR3 hard to stave off the SWTOR shakes.

That was awesome, but after watching it four times I can't tell what the fifth day is. One time it sounds like "World-wide RP" but the other times I can't tell, and the Sith called whatever it was disgusting the first time.

I never even got the chance to actually even see my character ship, but I was just curious mostly. Plus I'd rather be given a choice and not feel like I have to use that particular one. Because every one of the same class will have the same one and no one will be special >_>

I like playing healers usually but from what I've seen of the healer gameplay, it looks rather boring. Just healthbar watching, yawnfest. Maybe I've been spoilt by games like AoC and DCUO that offer a very active healer experience, you're fighting as much as dps and most heals are aoe.

But maybe if they offer advance class respec, I'll give a healer class a try.

there is some of that with the consular/inquistor. played inq this last build and got him up to 40. he was great fun

Yeah, no kidding! I got so frustrated with the lack of healers that I rolled one. Didn't expect to love it so much, as I usually play tanks. I had the most fun on those rare occasions where there were two healers on the team. Hope we get to team up Samhain! I'm also going to play a Sage healer, so I'll probably have lots of questions in-game :).

will do and sure will! :) will be fun

While leveling as Sage is it realistic to group as DPS if you don't feel like healing since 2 of the 3 talent trees are DPS? I'm wondering because Sage is going to be my main but I may not always want to heal. It's seems the developers have made the hybrid classes very diverse and I love that. I'm just wondering if I go Sage if I'll be expected to always heal in groups.

To tell you the truth, I'm having a tough time deciding between Sage, Guardian and Commando. I would rather tank than heal in a group but I like the playstyle and the story of the Sage. sigh.. this is my altoholic self... lol

Which would be the most useful to the guild in groups between those three in your opinion?

Well IMHO I think tanks/healers are ALWAYS the most requested. i remember many times where there was NO healers seemingly on at all. there would be spam in chat for hours for a healer and often times a tank. DPS however like always is a dime a dozen

I feel much the same way. I want to learn to craft lightsaber crystals but so far it has given me no reward, although I only got to level 20. I can't wait to see what the upper echelons of the crafting specs can lead to. I feel as though they put a lot of thought into this game due to a tendancy of their players to lose interest after a while and move on, so they have some great suprises still in store for us later on.

I can't wait to play this week! Happy crafting!

i myself and extremely pumped to go raiding. i will be a healer and i have played in the swtor beta for many months. i know the seer ac very well :P

So is endgame healing like in WoW etc, where the healer is totally dedicated to healing (which I always want to enjoy but never seem to be able to)? I've read that dedicated healing isn't as required in SWTOR, but you would know better I think...

you spend a lot of time healing but not all of it. you do have time for cc, minor damage, and stunning. in fact if you have a good tank he will call on your ability to cc and stun often WHILE healing. we always had tremendous success with me doing that.

although I don't have a raiding background this is one area I would love to have more exposure with. My main is going to be a Jedi Shadow, as of right now I anticipate that my focus will be DPS with some Tanking abilities hopefully so that I can serve as an off-tank during missions.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to atleast get my toes wet but I definately want to participate in the end game in SWTOR!
