Re: Getting Ready
Amazon.com still havnt shipped...
I think because each AC can have up to two different roles spec'd people can't just make assumptions like "you're a sage you must heal".
Well once I actually get access and find out what server the guilds actually on
They said that they were going to let us know before headstart, so maybe today? They also said that they were going to give us a server list of all available servers for headstart.
very true.
though also to be fair it is kinda hard to POWER LEVEL in this game. unless you spacebar thru all the conversations, and have a full group of four the whole time. and believe me there are guilds out there that will be 50 by the 20th. guaranteed.
One thing I like about this game is I never felt in a rush to level. The story content and questing is completely satisfying from level one.
I want to experience that! It's worth getting a second or third choice legacy name for a nice leisurely levelling process.

wow. for reals? that's... disturbing... I don't like the idea of having to powerlevel if I want to reserve my legacy name. I won't powerlevel. But I guess it does mean focusing on only ONE toon till that point lol.
I think you only have to worry if your heart is set on a particular legacy name, and you think there's a fair chance that others will gravitate toward it. If you have several that would all be acceptable, I'd be less concerned.

While leveling as Sage is it realistic to group as DPS if you don't feel like healing since 2 of the 3 talent trees are DPS? I'm wondering because Sage is going to be my main but I may not always want to heal. It's seems the developers have made the hybrid classes very diverse and I love that. I'm just wondering if I go Sage if I'll be expected to always heal in groups.
To tell you the truth, I'm having a tough time deciding between Sage, Guardian and Commando. I would rather tank than heal in a group but I like the playstyle and the story of the Sage. sigh.. this is my altoholic self... lol
Which would be the most useful to the guild in groups between those three in your opinion?
Not worried about emails, getting access or anything like that. If there is a snafu and we can't get on this week I'm not going to stress over it. I'm sure Bioware will do their best to make this go as smooth as possible.
I figure I'll get on when I can and enjoy the game as I did in beta.
as do i, but if i want to GET to the point of picking a last name before it is potentially gone i have to focus to get to level 30+. that was when i was able to get to the end of chapter one...with help of course...
