We're granting access based solely on when people's pre-orders were redeemed, and we're going to be granting it in 'waves' - large batches of emails and game entitlements that will go out over the course of today (and tomorrow, and the next day, and so on).

I'll be updating this thread (and this post) as we send out more 'waves' of invites.

So far today, we have sent out two 'waves' of invites; we will be sending more later on, but I cannot be specific on timing. (Why? Because as we invite each wave, we monitor to see how servers are performing and so on. If everything is good, we'll send a 'wave' earlier; we in fact sent 'wave 2' ahead of schedule. So cross your fingers.)

Now, to the question you all have: when will you be invited? Well, I cannot be specific to individuals or even to dates, because again, we have to remain flexible. That said, I can talk a little about the pattern of pre-orders.

At the very beginning of pre-orders, which started on July 21st, we had a massive influx of pre-orders. A huge spike. After that, things settled down. As a result, today especially, you're going to see a fairly narrow band of dates from those admitted to Early Game Access. From tomorrow, it'll spread out to a wider date range.

That's about as specific as we're going to get right now. However, as we send more waves I'll update this thread/post with more information. Thanks for your patience - we know it's been a long road, but you'll be playing before too long."

ya I found the original source and didn't recognize that guild by name. I was happy to learn so many of our allies/adversaries were placed on the same server but also a bit disappointed to learn some other folks might not be quite so excited to see some of us. I'm not interested in judging anyone let alone an entire guild based upon some individual member comments, but I hope that guild will extend Taint/Rough Trade the same courtesy. If I'm still a little butthurt when I bump into them in game, I might accidentally Force choke a few of them, but nothing serious.

If that is the case It won't be until late tonight because I registered mine at like 9 or so at night on the 21st once I figured out the code I needed to input on the site. It was a long day and the email from origin didn't make it obvious. Well I have just about an hour or so to wait before I move on to running an errand before work. If I get in today awesome, if not I've already accepted that.

Taint & Rough Trade are/were one of the largest and first well organized LGBT gaming groups. I worked with them closely when I was a founding member of one of the largest Ally lgbt guilds on Proudmoore. almost all their drama was self contained, and just due to the sheer overwhelming size of the guild. The first year's Proudmoore pride march was the biggest fight they had as far as I can recall, but they did it and the event grew into a cross faction festival.

the only other outer guild drama was when they got a self hating homophobe who snuck into their guild and started posting private info and stuff from their Xrated forums. the same jackwad did it to every LGBT guild that would let him in by changing servers and names.
