Any of The Lord of the Rings movies, and not because they are sad, but because they are just so amazingly beautiful.

Made me cry (a massive feat): Life is Beautiful; Pan's Labrynth; My Dog Skip; What Dreams May Come.

I guess it's a pretty short list for me.

Sixu,

"Empire of the Sun" is one of my favorite films of all time (and yes, it did make me cry). Christian Bale was extraordinary in his role and he was only thirteen!

I loved John Williams' score to the film and especially like that they included "Suo Gan." We sing an Anglicized version every Christmas as it is such an effective melody and so well-received. Here is last year's recording in case you want to hear it:

Suo Gan starts at 13:25 or there abouts.

Thanks so much for the link! Yeah, he was exceptional in the film. I believe i was about 10-11 when I first saw it and its definitely a film that stays with you like Schindlers List. :( :)

Here's the same lulaby in the original Welsh (a little clearer than in EotS!)

All the species we listed would either be pro-Republic or neutral, most being pro-Republic. They will add more species with expansions, but I think it'll be difficult justifying adding an equal number to the Sith Empire since they tend to practice speciesism towards "aliens" or the non-humanoids.

I was very surprised that they didn't include Sullustans or Rodians as they fit the Smuggler persona so well. Mon Calamari would be kind of cool so I could just run around shouting "It's a trap!".

I suppose a good example is one I shared with a co-worker that made us both cry:

The documentary of the Stonewall Riots.

The first film I actually remember crying my eyes out over, is Empire of the Sun by Steven Spielberg.

I wont ruin it too much if you haven't seen it, but essentially a British family get separated on the outbreak of WWII in Shanghai, when Japan invaded China and the British were forced to evacuate the Shanghai International Settlement. In the evacuation Jamie (The British schoolboy played by Christian Bale) is separated from his parents and ends up in a Japanese concentration camp. We see the journey through his eyes.

****SPOLIERS***

This scene where he's reunited is so poigniant, because Jamies transformation during the ordeal is so much, his parents don't recognise him at first:

it also featured the Welsh language lulaby: Suo Gan

It's a shame I never measure when I'm cooking. I love making desserts and would love to share my recipes, but I just go by taste instead of measurements. >.

This one is easy... Togrutas! Shaak Ti is my favorite Jedi. She fought General Grievous twice and survived. Also, she's one of three Jedi Masters that survived the Purge. Those are no easy feats. I refuse to play TFU simply because you have to kill her to progress in the game. Ahsoka Tano is pretty cool too.

I have yet to encounter a male Togruta NPC in the game though.

"Later Day" got to me.

"Trick" gets me (in a good way) sometimes.

And actually, a little known one called "Dancer, Texas" always gets me.

Thank you for merging my post in with yours. I couldn't remember where it was listed before.

I discovered that the registrar I use, GoDaddy.com supported SOPA. I had every intention of switching to another registrar/hosting provider. I found out tonight that they reversed their stance after so many customers have threatened to drop them. Although, if SOPA passes, I am likely to drop them anyway.

Ever since Attack of the Clones, I have loved Kit Fisto, a Nautolan (is it weird that I find him sexy? ). Seeing all the NPC nautolans in the game makes me really hope they make them playable one of these days. If you could have your pick, which would want to be?

No, Vulcans and Klingons are not allowed!

Was waiting agonizingly for the game (I get mine on the 28th sadly) and checked the website. Our server is still listed as full. I hope it'll suck less as time goes on. (Namely before I play) :side:
