I'm just hoping they reveal more of what the Legacy System really entails in the coming weeks, for now it's just very vague statements about unlocking skills and making your characters a family, etc... I guess we'll see. (I'm not knocking the game or anything)

I'm really excited about the UI options that we'll have, can't wait to move the chat window to the usual "classic" MMO bottom left corner style.

That it does Van. I was thinking of using that instance to grind out light points one day so I can finally get to level five. 1000 points away.

I really like what the legacy system looks to offer. I am also REALLY REALLY excited about the UI! I can't wait to make mine smaller! lol

Xal we should be able to knock the instance out pretty quickly. Lets try for Friday nite before the planned instance runs. We should need like 35 min to get to the end. (space bar thru dialog helps)

Also if you have the "Paint" program on your computer, after you've hit PRTSC you can paste it into that program and save it. But it's probably easier to do it Nniicc's way.

Gunslinging, especially sharpshooter, gets so much better in the later levels. The abilities from that tree speed up drastically and it becomes a struggle to use them fast enough in the end. You'll get an ability called speed shot which is going to be your bread and butter from that point on. Learn to love it! Also Leg Shot never works the way it is supposed to so don't waste the points on the skills. I am still working out a good rotation. If anyone else has any advice as to the best rotation for gunslingers to use let me know as well.

I actually stopped playing my smuggler scoundrel healer at 30 and have been having trouble going back to him. Partly I've never been a huge healing fan, partly for the reasons you mention, partly who knows.

But I too have been thinking of respeccing him to dirty fighting for a while to try him out that way.

"Backstabber" Title

Gotta love the this title, not sure if folks are trying to collect titles but there is one from Esseles you can receive by choosing the darkside options.

I have a Jedi Knight who headed down the dark path and is lvl 22 that I can run guildies thru Esseles and as long as you do not make a selection at the appropriate time we can get you the title.

Post here if your interested. Anyone can come as long as you can get into the instance so level is not an issue, I think you have to be at least lvl 10 to get into the instance.

Please note this will not give you dark side pts, so no need to worry if this will effect your light/dark side standing.

If there is interest I'll go ahead and post times when we will run thru the instance. We need at least 2 individuals and I'm willing to run as many times as needed.

It's always the ones right under the nose that get lost. The thread about adding characters is here. It is stickied at the top of this forum.

What Jon said is true: Even I get the endless "please wait." Once it pops up, give it a few seconds, then hit refresh and you should see your character was, in fact, added.

As previously stated, it's nothing new. For those of you who can remember getting a brand new 8 bit nintendo box in your hot little hands as a kid, you'll be keenly familiar with the disparity between the box art and how much it actually has to do with the actual gameplay.

Marketing and Ads haven't been about the reality of things for quite some time if ever. It's all about making the product your trying to sell/promote seem interesting and make you think it's what you want.

The point of Marketing isn't exactly to outright lie to people, especially when you're promoting a game. It's about bending the reality of the gameplay to make it look interesting to the kinds of people you want playing your games.

The concept of deceit has always mystified me. I suppose I could never be a marketer (and, for that matter, have learnt I should never write headlines, ever).

Try refreshing the page when it does that. I know myself and other members have had that issue and it does get added it just hangs on the please wait screen. Once you refresh it the characters tend to be there.
