One other option is those without a ship could be ferried to the event site by those that have ships. I know this might be difficult to coordinate but is possible and I don't mind making any of my ships available for whomever might need a ride. :)

Unfortunately this isn't an option. I tried to give a guild mate a ride in my ship the other day from the fleet to Nar Shaddaa. It said that they couldn't enter someone else's ship if they didn't have their own first. We were all very disappointed. I thought it was possible, too; alas, it's not.

However, the capitals for both sides are probably best. At least that way there are direct shuttles people without ships can take from the fleet.

The Garden of Equality on Corusant sounds perfect for the Republic side and for the Empire we can just meet outside the spaceport on Dromund Kaas.

I'll post the event tonight once I've had a chance to scout the locations and write some suitable directions. If anyone else would like to write some simple directions to the Garden of Equality from the Corusant starting area, that would be great, just PM them to me or post them here. Thanks

lol

first thing I thought of when i saw "fat Data" was "that would look like Harry Kim"

I am just glad they are cleaning TNG before they do an updated version like JJ did with TOS

TNG needs some love

although now I can see the model making stuff they used for some of the environments, like when the space jellyfish comes up out of the ground

it looks like some train model my father would make

and Michael Dorn's nostrils really never needed to be in high def

KoS Weekly Flashpoint/Hard Mode/Ops Night Poll

March 01 2012
We have quite a few level 50s in the guild that are trying to get started with running Hard Mode Flashpoints and eventually Operations. However there has been difficulty in getting guild groups together so some of us thought a regular night would help.

As most members have better availability at the weekend I thought Friday or Saturday would be best and it will be easier for grouping people in different time zones.

Please pick the poll option that would be best for you. Everyone should vote, not just level 50s.

Cheers,
CJ

I've seen that service and am very tempted, but do you think it's safe? The passwords I'm most concerned about protecting are financial institutions, etc., but putting those on some server somewhere that can be hacked seems risky.

Xcentric, the way that last pass works is that it actually encrypts your password information on your PC side (not that there is an ACTUAL program that you open and use) and then only stores the encrypted gibberish in the cloud. So if anyone were to access their servers they would only finding the encrypted gibberish that can't be deciphered. You should definitely check out their website.

The husband and I use this all the time now. He has the free version since you can use that for everything on your PC/Laptop etc... I got the paid version so I can have access on my Smartphone and use the password generator feature for work, without needing to get the IT department to agree to install this software on the entire network.

Also, if you have any other questions that I may be able to help you with shoot me a PM.

My one suggestion might be for whose who are technically savvy check out a service called LastPass, it has a built in password generator (right now only geared to work with websites, but can be used beyond the intended purpose if you're tricky). For use on the PC LastPass is free, but if you want some of the more advanced features it's only $12 for a full year of access.

I get that it wasnt shot in widescreen but the DVD release was in widescreen and it didnt look stretched or cut off.

Makes me sad is all :-( boo

It's mostly not going to be of anything seriously important. Think top of image and bottom of image. Most of the interesting stuff will be in the middle. It's not like they're gonna cut off part of character's heads or anything.

Or then again, MAYBE. D: *inquisitive*

The Search for HK-51 [Bonus Companion?]

February 28 2012
Hi All,

I am interested in starting a forum driven data gathering session for anything we can collectively find on acquiring this special companion.

Apparently he is rumored to be available in upcoming content releases but there are pre-req's that can be obtained in the interim.

Below are the links I have found this morning.
