I think I like Alderaan best so far for all the trees and "natural" terrain. :) There's a lot of variance but I like the forests and lack of industrialization. Drummond Kaas is a lot like Alderaan but I really dislike places like Narr Shadaa :dry: because I hate cities in general and that whole planet is one big city (unless there are places that was can't access that aren't so industrial but we'll never know that :P )

It really is a fun little game. You drive around in tanks, blowing stuff up.

Anyway, The game is holding a Model Tanks contest, which I entered. The Devs picked the top 13 entries as finalists. My entry is one of them.
And now its up to the players to vote for the top 5. It's quickly become apparent that the contestant with the most friends will win, regardless of the quality of their entry. The current leader, with 48 votes, is really pretty awful looking.

I am hesitant to do this; I'd prefer a fair compitition with all entries judged on their own merits, but its apparent that the fairness of the competition has been compromised. So, I'm asking any current or former WoT players to have a look and vote for whichever entry you think deserves it.

My main is a Sage. It was only on Corellia that I felt the epic-ness of the class quest story line. The other arcs were fun and interesting, but didn't have the same gravitas or Star Wars feel to them.

Taris comes in second if only for that one quest where they play the KotOR theme. Ah, nostalgia :lol:

Now that most of us have been playing for several months now and a lot have at least one level 50 player...well, except for you dedicated altaholics, you know who you are :P ...I'm just curious as to which planet is your favorite.

Storyline, scenery, epic battles against world bosses...vote and post why you like the planet you do.

If we're going to do this, we'll need to decide on a premise. We can have our ship captains attend some sort of conference, or to hew a little closer to the standard Trek format, we could all select ranks and positions on the bridge crew of a shared starship. I'm partial to the latter scenario, because it's a lot less formal and it gives us an instant excuse to do pick-up sessions whenever we want.

We also might want to consider designating a GM who can pose external events and answer questions like "what do I see if I scan for life forms?" I don't think it would turn into enough of a task to prevent also participating as a character, but I would be hesitant to take the reins myself, because I'm not as fluent in the lore as many here.

Great news, everyone!

We've completed upgrading our Shipyard and have earned our first 1,000 Fleet XP! We're now in the progress of upgrading our Starbase to Tier 1!

Doing so seems to have unlocked some new assignments for us and I've queued some new projects, including our first project to provision Fleet ships!

While all of this is really exciting, this is Tribble after all and not everything is available. My understanding is that none of the unlocks are currently working, therefor Mail and the Stores on the Starbase are still not accessible. (Meaning ships can't currently be purchased.)

For some reason, we've run out of Projects to Queue on Tribble so we might reach a point where we don't have any place to donate to. This may be a bug or due to us leveling the Shipyard currently. If you log in and see a project slot empty, don't worry! We'll queue one as soon as we can.

I was there for the prom and part of the auction.

Sadly my schedule didn't allow for much more. I even fell asleep during the auction - not because it was boring but cause it was around 2 AM here ;).

Seemed like a lot of fun, though. :D

My lack of time zone knowledge again. Derp. :silly:

I made it for the auction, some of the fashion show between STFs and the closing ceremony.
