I tried my first structured Pvp today And honestly didn't like it too much. I prefer eternal battleground, but it looks like the structured pvp is required for a lot of completion endgame stuff... Excellent... once you have decided on a date and time.. make sure you amend the guild daily message to reflect that so the people that don't log on here can see it IN GAME. Looking forward to finally doing something as a group. This should be FUN!

HAL, I would be more then happy to join you in a WvW event. I have only known of 1 so far. I had stopped logging on here every day because nothing was happening. IF we actually start doing things and planning them for certain days, I'm sure people will start catching on and things will happen. That's the way it is with any game.

Well so long as they let Bioware run their own game and not try to take over (as they did with Earth and Beyond) I wouldn't worry TOO much. The only reason I stopped playing was because I got a bit bored of the game. Everything else was brilliant. :)

Nice finally got time to play through the last mission. I did enjoy the last cutscene as well. I hear there will be some downloadable content released soon. I'll have to play through that too.

My concern isnt so much Bioware, but big daddy EA.

I'm looking to get our first meet together on Friday or Saturday November 2/3. Friday will have to be later in the EST. Saturday is open. After our first meet, I'm thinking we'll try to meet on Friday or Saturday... probably Saturdays. We'll aim to get maps completed during our runs, but we can also turn this into a once a week meet and greet and just a general adventuring run (DE, Zerg, WvW, etc. etc.)

But...

I have viewed Cryptic differently for a long long time. They had a very successful formula with CoH and then jumped ship to work on what amounts to Marvel Ultimate Alliance online. (Though them leaving was probably best for CoH). They did a rush job on STO and created a track record of broken promises, failed/put off projects, and incomplete content. They did so poorly that Atari couldn't get them off their hands fast enough and then they were purchased by a company that seems to be their soul mates.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my people, but eastern developed games do seem to be very light on content and very heavy on grinding to get what little content is available. Cryptic seems to effing love this and have turned it into an art form.

So I wouldn't give up on Bioware just yet. I still think they can afford a bit more rope before we think they've hung themselves. :)
