Actually, after a little research it appears we have to be on the same server.

• Cities and regions cannot be moved to another server or accessed from another server.
• There are no language or location restrictions on servers, so you can play with your friends from around the globe, and connect with players from all over the world
• If a server becomes full, new players will not be able to join - only players with a region on that server will be able to access it.
• Players trying to join extremely busy servers may not be able to join immediately, and will have to wait until space becomes available.
• If a server is unavailable, players will be informed through a Server Status Alert on the SimCity launcher.
• Your friends list will only ever display friends who are playing on your current server.
• You can play on any server in any location you'd like. The geographic location of your server won't affect your gameplay or cause any lag or loading issues.

I seriously want a refund for my nonfunctioning copy of SimCity so I can pirate a functioning copy of SimCity.

Yeah, I'm not so happy about the "always online" game play they've opted for. The server just went down for maintenance while I was in the middle of working on my city. There was not warning before hand, just a pop up that said, the servers were going down and the game was closing.

And since we have a fleet member who works for the IOC how bout we get this to replace wrestling in the Olympics? It's far closer to the classical styles practiced in ancient Greece and I guarantee their ratings will skyrocket!

If only I was Secretary General of the IOC already...social media does not really have much say on the Olympic Programme...

So far I've got KiddKasper and TodOverton into the region and they've claimed a spot. I was able to invite Tocanis which hopefully means we all don't have to be on the same server to play together. Let me know if you got the invite Tocanis!

I'm honestly rather surprised that more gay men don't know about this sport. Of course, the fact that I'm all "yeah, Turkish wrestling, what about it?" might say more about me and my Google searches than anything else...
