I find the guide through STO's Task Force Omega very helpful. Although I've started to play in STO in December 2012 I've focused on exploring the Galaxy, all missions and also on gaining the reputation within the New Romulus getting quickly to T4. I've started Task Force Omega only a couple of weeks ago and that article is an essence of the knowledge that will help to focus on my targets. Thanks!

Re: Game Update 2.1: Customization

They have other games (STO off the top of my head) giving them examples of what they can get away with doing to their player base. Heck, TSW charges you $10US to buy a new outfit for your pretend person and Marvel Universe (Open beta weekend starts today if anyone wanted to play) charges you $10 per costume.

When one game gets away with doing things like that, and they don't see it negatively affect their numbers, well they all think they can get away with it.

So before you say "I have no problem paying to" just remember that the thing for which you have no problem paying may only be the thin end of the wedge. When the companies see how many people have no problems paying for X, well they may as well just charge you for W, Y and Z while they're at it.

Is anyone else playing this? I'm about to start a character, but was hoping to roll on the same server as any other Stonewallers.

At some point, they plan on merging the 3 shard together.

In the meantime, it does seem like most of us are on Mindflayer and Dragon.

Game Update 2.1: Customization

May 03 2013
I just received an email announcing what's going to be happening with the next SWTOR game update. An Appearance Designer Kiosk will be making its debut on the fleets and Capital worlds for both factions with the next game update. Along with being able to change your appearance whenever you get tired of looking at yourself (which includes changing the species of your character), the long awaited new playable species the Cathar will also be introduced. All these new capabilities will be available for purchase through these new kiosks or from the Cartel Store and subscribers will receive a discount on the costs of making any of these changes.

While I have no problem with paying to change my hairstyle or other facial features, I don't think we should be having to pay to create a character using the new playable specie, the Cathar. F2P players have to pay to unlock this ability for any new species they want their character to be but subscribers have always had access to all the species for free. I guess now, any new species that's introduced will be on a pay-to-play basis...yet another bad move on Bioware/EA's part....cha-ching... :pinch: :(

In 2, I wanted romance Jacob so bad! In 3, I romanced Steve Cortez.

Oh god, Jacob... he was just a fucking cocktease that entire game. Especially the way he would lean against that table when you talked to him... *fans self*

I know, right? He kept making comments like, "We should hang out more." and crap like that. I wanted one of those little blue options to come up, but no luck. :(

Maybe this will suffice though:

This looks really fun, and it is the motivation I need to work on my KDF character, but unfortunately I do not believe I will be able to attend :(

I hope everyone has fun though ;)

I played ME (all three games) so many times, I have romanced every character possible as both a male and female. Man, I could rant on all day about Mass Effect; what a great game!

I will say, I only saved Ash twice because I hate that chick.

Male Shepard. Who can resist that face?

I saved Ashley Williams. Really wish I hadn't as I grew to hate her though the games. :P

In 1, I think I romanced Liara. In 2, I wanted romance Jacob so bad! In 3, I romanced Steve Cortez.

I really wanna replay all the games and save Kaidan so I can romance him. :P

Personally I think it is cool but very odd from a server stand point because it means both games are on the same server which by tonight's events is very bad, both games are down >_

I think it would be excellent if Stonewall established a presence in Neverwinter (with the requisite amount of interest by guild peeps, of course). I would support and encourage guildies to post their interest (or lack thereof) here.

Haha, it's a little odd, but I like it. I don't know anyone in Neverwinter, so it's great to see fleet banter down there. Plus, It allows me to see what's going on in STO, so I can jump back and forth between the games as events allow.

It's also kind of fitting for my character, who is a character I've used in all of Cryptic's games so far. It's like some weird transdimensional shit is going on.
