Can we get the specs written out for the pants/skirts for females? One of the bugs in the tailor doesn't save the settings for female bottom costume pieces in fleet uniforms, it keeps it as whatever you're already wearing.

Thanks for helping me get my bonus chest on Saturday everyone. And thanks Elquin for getting us the extra influence needed for the rush! I cannot wait to start doing these -- I've stumbled upon another guild doing the chicken one and was able to run it with them. It was a lot of fun, and a challenge as well.

It's great, because guildies who have finished can help those still trying to get through by throwing out boons, heals, and distracting enemies :)

The work you put into put this event together and run it was amazing! Your efforts were a huge success, as well. I've never seen so many Klingons on at once!! All of the events were a lot of fun and I can't wait for our next Klink day!

Re: Star Trek Into Disappointment (spoilers abound)

May 19 2013
Really? THIS is what they have reduced Trek to? A man having to explain to his 11-year old son why Bill Shatner's wannabe is in bed with two chicks...?? *WTF?*

Gay kids are killing themselves because there isn't a 1966 version of Uhura around for them to prove that you can indeed offer VALUE to a team saving everything; that you can BE SOMETHING other than *just* gay. Whoopie Goldeberg: Mama, mama...! There's a black lady on TV, and she ain't no maid!"

"...hey dad, hey dad...! There's a gay man on TV, and he ain't no dizzy stereotypical queen choking on his lisp!"

Support for this sorry excuse for a Trek movie is just wrong. Star Trek is at its very best when it is making a statement about us as human beings at our worst, and especially, at our best. Sorry if I'm a hater because I don't need a lense flare to make that happen. *INTO DARKNESS* *WEAK ACTION FLICK* ***FAIL***

My 11-year-old and I agreed that it was a great movie, specifically that it was much better than the first one. We really enjoyed it.

My only complaint was about the cinematography, which I thought was too jumbled, chaotic, and jumpy. But I liked the plot and story a lot. Best movie I've seen in quite a while.

I could have done without them putting Kirk in bed with two alien girls. That made for a fun ride home...

Event Re-Cap!

I'd like to extend a huge congratulations and thank-you to everyone who came together to make this event possible, especially, Iccarus and Jacien: the fine Fleet Captains of the Klingon Affairs department! The KDF roster has never seen so many members online simultaneously in recent history, and a fantastic time was had by all!

Thank you to all warriors who joined us today, and remember to ally your newly created Romulans and Remans with the House of Nagh reD, come the launch of Legacy of Romulus!

Below, are several action shots from the Bat'leth tournament, for those who missed it!

Second Place: Amun (@NicholasJohn16) Winner of Korath Uniform!

My BF made me see it tonight and now calls me pointy  It left me feeling empty. It's simply regurgitated plot. Action film yes, hacky
uninspired writing clearly, Trek film in name only.

Prepare yourselves! A rather harsh review is incoming.

I have a problem with this topic and a lot of the replies to this topic. My problem is this: everyone keeps calling this a Star Trek movie. In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing "Star Trek" about the movie other than the names.

Let me elaborate:

That is all I will say for now.

Old post! :)

Well, I think this warrants enough of a response to go ahead with a trial run of this.

I'm gonna claim a Sunday evening to try this out and we'll see how clumsy we all are. lol The party sizes in GW1 are (depending on the mission/area) 4-8 people so we can accommodate at least everyone who is remotely interested. :)

I'll try to figure out a way to publicly organize this but it would be helpful if interested parties messaged me too!

Can't wait to make minions from all of your corpses. :D

Also!

A HUMUNGOUS thank you to our leader, Elquin, for purchasing the last 8,000 points of influence for the guild! Be sure to thank him next time you see him in game. :)

We love you, Elquin!

Hello Stonewall Vanguard

Congratulations on a successful week of guild missions!

Announcement: Guild Rushes are only 8 days away from being unlocked! We gathered enough influence and it's just a matter of time now before we'll be scuttling, hopping, and howling our way through those rushes!

This past week though, we got beat around a little but walked away victorious on a number of fronts.

We cleared a tier 1 Guild Bounty on Thursday earning all out participating members a guild bounty chest (one person got an exotic!). We then went up against two tough training bounties (Devious Tessa and Tricksy Trekksa) and got the karka shells beat out of us. lol We didn't even FIND Trekksa until the last couple of seconds! But that's what training bounties are all about.

Saturday we very easily completed another Guild Trek (tier 2 again) and got Noviere (who couldn't attend Thursday's mission) his weekly bounty chest.

We've had some great attendance to these missions and lots of fun vent chat. :D (Norns... ...) Seriously though, great team coordination!

Reminder: The GW2 wiki says it best:
Once we have guild rushes unlocked that will be 2 chances at commendations and an ascended accessory from guild mission chests

Yo, backyard, can you put that shit behind some spoiler text for the people who haven't seen it? Thanks.

I agree about the whitewashing of the villain. There is no excuse for that.

However, I'd argue that this movie actual had more character development than most Star Trek movies (which have traditionally been far more action-driven, like Wrath of Khan and First Contact). Additionally, the design of that ship is supposed to be un-Trek. It's supposed to represent everything the Enterprise does not. That was kind of the whole point.

I'd also argue that if you actually think carefully about the plot, there are less plotholes than you think. When I was discussing the movie with some friends, a lot of the plotholes they thought existed were taken care of; they had just forgotten some of the movie's dialog.
