I was "kinda" there. Boyfriend drama kept exploding on me, and I ended up being late to or missing most of the events. I did have fun with the trivia contest that mattachine put on.

I was there and fun had been had! B) Although I did kind of fail at Bat'leth fighting and answering trivia questions... lol.

Thank you to all of the dedicated Fleet Captains who took time out of their schedules to help host the many different events that were happening throughout the weekend!!

Although I wasn't at any of the Fleet events I made certain to keep myself available to admit new members to the fleet so everyone else could keep focused on the Events!

Yeah, I used to watch Space Above and Beyond with my dad. As a retired air force man, he always complained about how the officers were both pilots and infantry, a la Battlestar Galactica's Colonial Warriors, which he thought was bad because it's really expensive to train a soldier to specialize in one or the other, especially as pilots. Why would you then send your highly trained pilots into a ground fight?

I DO NOT LIKE THE HIVE Missions....I will do them but I DO NOT LIKE THE HIVE missions. :)

That being said I love all the rest and do them as often as I can. There are several groups of us that run them frequently and with new/ish/er players to teach them the ropes. Not that I am all that and a cup of applesauce but I have had some very good teachers in this fleet and I started out with crap gear, a total noob and now have Omega AND M.A.C.O. as well as 2 space sets, Assimilated and M.A.C.O. I am by no means Elite but I can hold my own :) Join us anytime we will get anyone in to an STF that needs it. This includes you GXV3!

I love this idea. I'm still working on getting the hang of game mechanics in STO and would love to learn more as it's been a slow go for me so far. My chars are approx level 7 right now. I have noticed the learning curve is a bit steeper here than GW, SWTOR, NW or even Eve, at least for me. I do deal with some brain fog though and perhaps that's increasing the challenge level.

Real life happens. It was a wonderful event, I am sure you will see many more postings of pics and such. While this event was unique, to me it represents a lot of the daily happenings in game but on steroids. This is truly a remarkable group of people.

Hell, you can still show up at Risa and join the dance parties. I will cut a rug with you whenever you want :)
