Isn't there two worlds? Hyboria, or something. Which world are you guys choosing. I had to smile extra hard at the dude at Gamestop to convince him to arrange the Special Collector's edition copy (no longer sold at the regular price and now becoming more rare) to be delivered at a store near my location, otherwise I would have had to drive more than 100 miles!?! Anyway, which world are you guys becoming a part of???
The world for ff14 is Hydaelyn but you play in an area called Eorzea *if I recall correctly*
There are a TON of different servers to choose from. Seems like the Stonewall people here are split between a couple servers with Gilgamesh taking the lead from reading this thread.

Details
The FIRST hour of the event will be a retirement party for Admiral Slayer, which will include the following mini-events, every 15 minutes, several of which will feature prizes, awarded by guest judges!
- Best farwell speech/poem/lymeric or song!
- Best dance moves competition!
- Fill the holodeck mini-event!
- Best party outfit competition!
The galaxy bingo event will start AFTER the hour long retirement party! Details about this event and how to participate are being kept largely secret! For the best chance of success and winning a prize, attend on a LEVEL 50 FEDERATION TOON, with as many episode missions available for REPLAY and NOT ON COOL-DOWN, as possible!
Additional details will be provided at the time of the event! See you all there!

I bought my copy off amazon. It'll be here in "5 days" I'm giving it a full two weeks. LOL
