T I E R · I · P R I Z E · O P T I O N · D E T A I L S · A N N O U N C E D !

Today, we're super excited to unveil details of one of our Tier I prize options! The participant who is declared event winner on March 23rd, will have the option of choosing one of two prizes from the Tier I award category, as listed in the first post of this thread, namely, they'll have their choice a Lobi store ship of their choosing, or to have their own likeness or that of one of their in-game toons, drawn by the very talented artist: Gary Anderson! (Example of drawings pictured above).

Your own likeness or your choice of character will be digitally drawn in a standard pose, wearing the uniform, outfit or armor of your choosing! Not only will you receive the original image, but the second and third parts of this amazing prize option will provide you with two additional graphics! Once you our your toon's image has been drawn, I will incorporate it into a forum signature, similar to those being sold at the fleet's forum signature store. Not only will you receive a free forum signature with your drawn toon or likeness incorporated into it, you'll also receive a TeamSpeak avatar, similar to a forum signature, but one that you can upload as your image, when using the Stonewall Fleet's or any other TeamSpeak server - all this work for free!

We're super excited to provide you with this prize option, and look forward to you all joining us for the Mystery Location event, starting here in this forum thread, on March 1st, 2014!

Semil will be in attendance to defend his title.

And by 'defend his title', of course I mean allow everyone within a 10 light year radius to take turns wailing on his brittle little Vorta bones.

W I N N E R · P E R K · A N N O U N C E D !

Today, we're unveiling a perk for our grand prize winner! The participant who is declared event winner on March 23rd, will have the opportunity to have their in-game character featured and immortalized in our post-event video trailer, which will be posted in this forum thread following the completion of the event!

Not only will the first place winner have the opportunity to be featured in the post-event trailer, but they will also receive their choice of Tier I prize, as listed on the first post of this event thread, and will also be awarded the winner's edition of the Mystery Location event forum ribbon, which will appear beneath their name and photo in these forums!

Note: the first place winner will need to make themselves available to meet with me in-game for 3 to 4 minutes between March 21st and 23rd, before the official winner announcement, in order to participate in the shooting of the clip in which they're to be featured.

We look forward to seeing you at the event! Additional event information will be announced in the coming days, so be sure to stay tuned to this thread!

Re: worth the money?

February 24 2014
I personally think it's worth the sub simply to bypass all the F2P restrictions but that's just me. I've always felt Bioware/EA went way to far overboard with these restrictions, making it very difficult for a F2P player to be able to join a guild in game.

Also, just to let you know, the guilds have never been on Ebon Hawke. We started out on the Jekk'Jekk'Tarr server (the unofficial "gay server") and switched to The Harbinger when EA started combining servers and allowing those on the low population servers to switch to designated higher population servers. The information you need to know/use to become a member of either Knights of Stonewall (for Republic classes/players) or Lords of Stonewall (for Imperial classes/players) is contained within the Start Here! forum section of the website and is entitled TOPIC: How To: Join for SW:TOR located at the top of that forum section. You are also most welcome to send me a private message (PM) if you have any questions and I'll make every attempt to answer to the best of my ability. :) Because most of our members also play STO, the SWTOR guilds aren't the most active but you will probably find someone online depending when you usually play, of course. I can always log on to send you an invite if you let me know when you have a character on The Harbinger server. I just need to know that character's name & faction, as well as your timezone so I can figure out how to translate the time you plan to play to my timezone. There are also Captains (who have invite privileges) that play at differing times but you will have to join the respective faction chat channel in order to see if anyone is on that can invite you. Instructions for joining the chat channels is part of the information included in the Start Here! forum thread as well as pertinent instructions for F2P players.

Voleron is one of the fleet leaders and responded. I think the main problem here is there is some sort of gap as to what you expect from this. It seems we are assuming you wish to be friendly and join our chat channel interact with our fleeties, team up for PvE etc.

Was you expecting something different?

Yes you are exactly right my friend the only problem is, i don't think any of your admirals have seen or are paying attention to this so we may end up sending your leader a message. Happy hunting :)

worth the money?

I really do miss this game, even if I'm used to dodge combat and no healer/tank...the PVP was awesome and the dungeons were even cooler!

Is it worth the 15/mo sub, for someone who works a lot?

I already have a 50 Sage, and my vanguard is 37. I'd even transfer if you guys aren't on Ebon Hawke.

I think he means G.K.O.S. is an independent fleet,... that hopefully we could turn into some fun run weekends (PvP, PvE)for eg, between our two fleets. like play alongside each other and organize events, training weekends.
Which would be fun, and Id be up for it!

but correct me if Im wrong :p

Oh yes indeed, from the first post it was obvious that GKOS is an independent fleet, one that is seeking an alliance with Stonewall Fleet to do all sorts of joint events, which I think is neat and thus I've posed some questions to know more :)

Thanks GXV3 :)

Well we've planned on having meetings every 2 weeks which will address current matters and future plans. So this can be something as simple as all of us coming up with a new fleet uniform or motto and then deciding on who gets handed the task, or if a member does something that is out of bounds, say like they say or do something you wouldn't normally do in public, then we will discuss that and decide on the best course of action, whether that be a demotion or a ban from fleet made PvE events. And the last option being a kick. The only exception to this rule is the head of departments for the fleet. So like i'm head of starbase operations, i decide what projects we work on and what should be a priority and if the fleet want to use the starbase for say special tactics training for in space and on the ground..even though we cannot shoot each other. Then those will be organized and over seen by me.

Basically not one person decides on something that effects the fleet as a whole..we have our own little council as it were among the command members. Hopefully you can understand where I am trying to come from :)

Thank you for the question and happy hunting

Where will your meetings take place? Here or on your website?

When you stated "all of us coming up with a new fleet uniform or motto and then deciding on who gets handed the task" are you referring a new fleet uniform the represents an allied or joint Stonewall/GKOS venture or your fleet's personal uniform, including whom you assign from your fleet to work with someone from Stonewall, where you would need to consult with an admiral here so that the admiral can designate a fleet captain on this end.

Also, based on what you wrote, you'll be posting punitive actions about your fleet members here on this forum? I'm assuming that you will consult with a Stonewall Fleet admiral first and foremost to discuss negative behavior regarding members of Stonewall Fleet before posting to this forum.

What was your Fleet's website?
