WOOT! VEGAS BABY! Just got my vacation time approved! I'll be staying at the Blue Moon (Gay Men's Resort - Only one in Vegas!). Me and BF will fly in Thursday afternoon for a fantastic weekend of Star Trek Goodness! Can't wait to meet everyone in person.

Last night I decided to introduce my Ferasan on my tumblr. Here is the story I wrote for him:

K’Marrak is a Ferasan, a feline species. Found abandoned in Klingon space by the son of the head of a house, K’Marrak was brought up as a proper Klingon warrior.

In adult life however he learned he was abandoned for a reason: he was supposed to infiltrate the KDF for a scret order who influences politics and economics in different parts of the Alpha and Beta quadrant.

The Order of the Felidea consists out of only Ferasans and Caitians (feline cousins of the Ferasan) and try to save as much lives as possible by limiting wars, donating goods and influencing political talks between nations. Nothing is more sacred to them than a life.

K’Marrak realised this was his true duty and joined the Order, whilst still staying in place as a member of the KDF, eventually rising to the rank of Lieutenant General. He is given permission to kill, but only so if there is no other way - and he would want it no other way.

In his Bortesqu’ ship called the PitSa’ Chab, K’Marrak serves the Order faithfully. In the pictures above, you can see K’Marrak, his away team and his ship. His bridge crew and away team know of K’Marrak’s loyalty to the Order and although they do not always agree with his decisions, they respect his command as long as he does not betray the KDF (although some of his crew his turning around to his point of view and welcome the new changes).
