The first meeting of the Tribble Breeders Club went well tonight. We had a good turnout, learned a bit about tribbles, and we each bred at least one tribble at the meeting itsself.

Each member in attendance got a tier 6 tribble with appropriate food to create a tier 7, so it was a fun hands on way to learn how to breed them.

Here is what we learned:

Tribbles come in 8 different tiers, with varying types and potency of buffs, either damage, damage resistance, health regen, or in lower tiers, a simple health buff.

Key points to remember: Tribbles breed when they eat, and they eat once per hour. To breed with desirable results, you must feed strategically. This means you give a specific subspecies a specific food.

To actually breed them, first make sure you have no food or tribbles in your inventory or else the offspring will likely not be what you intend. Add a single tribble and a single food item, and wait, within an hour, it will eat the food, and make the baby you want.

Anybody that has the special c store tribbles, either riviera, or photonic, can treat them as if they were any tier 4 tribble, and create tier 5 offspring. We are still investigating if this works with tribble of borg, and fluidic space tribbles.

Tribble Food bank: Because the food required to breed high end tribbles can be hard to come by, i have established a food bank on one of my toons. If anybody needs to see if I have a certain food item, or wishes to make a donation, please contact me by in game mail @six-of-nine. Food items in highest demand are Romulan Osol Twist, Heart of Targ, Quadrotriticale, Tulaberry Wine, Romulan Ale, Tranya, Cardassian Taspar Egg, and Jumbo Romulan Mollusk.
