It's time to finally decide on an official fleet uniform for our KDF players, and what better way to do that than to get submissions from you, the fleet!

We'll be gathering at Drozana station on Friday August 27th, at 2pm, 5pm, and 8PM Pacific time for the competition. Because this is a neutral station, interested Federation players will be welcome to attend.

A few ground rules for a submission to be accepted, first and foremost, it must not contain any locked components. This means no rank sash, and no race specific clothing (orions and nausicaans, I'm talking about you).

We will have two categories for submissions, male and female, since KDF uniform options are not the same for each gender. It is recommended, but not required to create a uniform that can easily be color coded based on career path (red tactical, blue science, gold engineer).

If you are not able to attend, or if you wish to make a submission for the gender other than you play, then just create the uniform on a Klingon species player or Klingon species boff, and while in the editor, click the save button. Then look within the star trek online program folder for the "Live" folder, and within that for the "Screenshots" folder. Inside you'll find a headshot of your character, embedded with metadata describing the costume you've designed. E-mail that file to joshuaeudy@gmail.com, along with your @handle, and I will be able to apply the uniform to one of my own characters, so you can be included by proxy.

Each fleet member will be allowed two submissions, one male, and one female. Once I've taken screenshots of each submission, voting will commence, and after a winner is decided, the uniform will be applied to the fleet settings, making it available for you and your KDF players.
