oh Im one of the PC/Xbox admirals, we were trying to get in contact with Scott( PSN: AetherArchon ) as we have some people wanting to join the PS4 fleet but cant seem to get ahold of him.
Ehm, the low number of players is a massive problem in the game. Even disregarding playing with fleetsters, you will be hard pressed to find people to do gaming with.
I was invited to the Fleet last night, so thank you. I hope to see more people on here soon. I do believe Sam is correct wit the new FF i think a lot of people are playing other games. Hope to see some of ya on soon.
I'm on PS4. Anyone who is above recruit rank should be able to invite. If you need invited I'm on daily to doff and queue fleet projects as cowboytrekkie you can mail me if I'm not on and will invite when I'm back on. The only thing I can't do is upgrade alts of other admirals from recruit, I think we all need Scott to do that.
I just updated the recruiting message to let people know they can request invite from any online member. I also listed my in game handle (ross at cowboytrekkie) if no one is on. I'll help any way I can until we hear from AetherArchon.

I would not be surprised if we see an upswing after Tuesday. Bonus XP month from the 6th of December up to the 10th of January.
I for one will be grinding up my alts during that time.
So long as I resist the allure of FF15 which I may have just bought from Amazon...
