Caught a youtube video following this most recent update. The pilot was flying a T6 Defiant with the Quantum weapon set and using cannons. All phasers, including a 2-piece counter command turret/console. Avg was 150k+ dps on ISA. I've been doing some finagling, and using a very, very similar build on my pilot ship, I'm averaging 67k (cheap, not leveled up equipment.) I think the biggest problem I'm having is getting control of my facing for cannons, and getting the timing on combining abilities to maximize their combinations.

If you fly an escourt, how do you maximize your weapon up-time (without beam arrays) and keep your abilities up and running at the same time?
