They're aren't emoticons. They #emojis. You do it the same way as anywhere else. On mobile, you can use your emoji keyboard. On PC, it's a little harder. You can copy and paste them in from sites like https://emojipedia.org .
Some people were 😞 when we didn't have smilies, but I was 🙂 cause I knew #emojis were coming! 💖🎉🔥
